Well that's it, season over until next year, and WHAT a SEASON!!!! John has WON the BMCRC CLUBMAN 1000 CHAMPIONSHIP. (The first championship in the UK to be won on an Aprilia RSV4 we think!!) He managed to clinch it at Snetterton 8th and 9th September, with three wins and this meant John headed to Brands 77 points ahead of Lloyd Sutton Foster, and with only 75 up for grabs, he claimed the 2012 Clubman 1000 championship a round early. Again John rode really well at the last round at Brands (29th and 30th September) winning on the Saturday and taking a win and a 2nd on the Sunday. HOTTRAX Motosport ENDURANCE Clubman 1000 - Donington Park 25th August. Our second outing as Part of Team Traction Control, standing in for Keith Flint alongside regular team member Ben Neeves. Qualified 1st in class, 2nd overall, thanks to Ben setting the fastest lap in our class. Unfortunately Ben had a fall at the Melbourne Loop on lap 3 or 4, just as the rain started, which saw us back to last place. A battle ensued to finish as high up as possible in the points in the hopes of holding onto the championship lead. Following some really brilliant riding from both Ben and John (JC was fastest man on track for the last session) they finished in a staggering 2nd place in class. Once again a masive thanks to the team, for making this a thoroughly pleasurable experience. As always big thanks to the Technicians at Bikersworld for the brilliant preparation of the RSV4.

BMCRC Clubman 1000 Cup - Cadwell Park 18-19th August Round 8 - What a weekend... Great practise day, dry race conditions and 3 WINS!! That put us back into contention a 24 point lead. Lets hope we can improve on that when we go to Snetterton 8th and 9th September.

BMCRC Clubman 1000 Cup - BRANDS HATCH 28-29 July 7th Round. After a really good practise day, disaster on the first lap of the first of three races. Taken out by a rider from behind who lost control of their machine, 2 breaks to the collarbone!! No racing for John this weekend then... Now trailing in Champoinship to Lloyd by 3 points.

BMCRC Clubman 1000 Cup - On to Snetterton 7th and 8th July for the sixth round - Not a great round, 2nd 5th and a DNF after a coming together with a rider who fell off straight in front of John, on the first lap, luckily no one seriously hurt. Championship lead reduced to 65 points.

23rd and 24th of June: Fith Round - Cadwell Park BMCRC Clubman 1000 Cup - 2 wins and a DNF. John now leading championship by 90 Points!!

First stop: ANGLESEY 2nd June - HOTTRAX Motosport ENDURANCE Clubman 1000. A perfect start to our first outing as Part of Team Traction Control, standing in for Keith Flint alongside regular team member Ben Neeves. Qualified in first place, with the fastest lap in our class being set by Ben, followed by a convincing victory with over a lap in hand. Massive thanks to the team, for making our first outing a thoroughly pleasurable experience. Also big thanks to the Technicians at Bikersworld for the brilliant preparation of the RSV4. Then over to Oulton Park for the Fourth Round of the BMCRC Clubman 1000 Cup on the 4th and 5th of June. Again great results from John, a comfortable second in the first race, with Race 2 proving a harder battle. Following a bad start, John was the last clubman into the first corner but managed to fight his way back up to finish with a second place with the leader in his sights on the last lap. Great News, John's championship lead has been extended to 77 points. Next Round: Cadwell Park for the Fifth Round of the BMCRC Clubman 1000 Cup on the 23rd and 24th of June.

John has has a great start to the season on his RSV4, He is leading the BMCRC Clubman 1000 Cup by 64 points after the latest round at Pembrey, where ho got 4 Wins out of 4 in the Clubman Class. (Sat 3rd and 4th on the road, Sun 3rd and 2nd on the road).
